“I always want my clients to feel during their planning process that they have an advocate and friend taking care of their best interests.”
Hiring a planner, especially in the initial steps in planning, can help save you hours of time and money throughout the planning process. Planners know how to match you with vendors that can execute your vision, and can help save you in the researching phase of planning.
Shh Events in particular is a logistic-based planning company. What that means is every aspect of your event, from menu production and catering selection, to timeline, floor plan, and vendor detailing is thoroughly and thoughtfully planned out with your taste and aesthetics in mind. Lots of planners set out decor - you need a planner that can do that plus know how long it takes to serve and clear a salad course and how that will impact speeches and timing!
A planner is an investment that is hired to protect all of your other investments for the day- it is the best wedding gift that you can give yourself and we promise- married you will be oh so grateful!

phase no. 01
Initial planning is going through all ideas together and making sure you are connected with the best vendors to achieve your vision. This includes reviewing contracts, getting to know you and your partner, exploring your vision boards, and chatting about the big picture of how you want the day to go and feel. Shh Events will also share recommended vendors and a detailed wedding planning timeline during the initial planning phase.
phase no. 02
Phase two happens about 12 weeks before the wedding. This is when we start to cross our t's and dot our I's. We will send fillable forms so that we can start to create your wedding planning document, will schedule a production call to go over the full run of show for the day, and will get a final site visit scheduled with you and your vendors to attend onsite at your venue location. This phase of planning is getting all of your ideas into production mode.
phase no. 03
Lastly, we produce! The week of the wedding we will meet up to collect your "personals" and decor that Shh Events will be responsible for, we will orchestrate your ceremony rehearsal the day or two before the wedding, and on the wedding day we will be your liaison ensuring every detail is flawlessly executed.
